Sebufix^® F 16

• In addition to well established quantitative sebum measurements, the approach of the Sebufix^® is more qualitative.
• The foils come in a convenient dispenser box and are easy to take out.
• The very quick measurement without any glue has no occlusion effects on the skin thereby avoiding incorrect results.
• The measurement is not influenced by the hydration level of the skin (sweating).
• The Sebufix^® F 16 is a perfect addition to the Visioscan^® skin camera. The sebum production can be monitored in real time on the screen.
• With the software the number, size and area covered with spots (mm²) can be evaluated for 5 different sizes of spots (very small to large). In addition, the software displays the slope of the sebum development during the measurement time as a value.
• A number of studies has been performed with this interesting foil.

The foil is applied to the skin and the sebum will become visible as transparent spots in various sizes after only a few seconds. Skin with low sebum content shows a few small spots, whereas oily skin is visualized by a great number of large spots.

The Sebufix^® F 16 is a very helpful tool for investigating the activity of the sebaceous glands.
