Quick and convenient sebum measurement on the scalp

Using an optional adapter allows to measure with the strips for the Meibometer^® easily and conveniently the sebum on the scalp with parted hair.

The Meibometer^® is generally used to assess the lipids produced by the Meibomian glands in the eye which keep the moisture of the tear fluid. It works photometrically with strips consisting of the well -established Sebumeter^® tape.

With an optional applicator the strips can be brought on to the scalp with parted hair to assess the sebum content. Thus the Meibometer^® is an ideal tool for R&D of hair care products (claim support and efficacy testing) as well as dermatological basic research.
